THE REBELLION IS UPON IS
The Shabbat Rebellion is set during modern time and based on alternative (fictional) historical events when the German forces that invaded Europe,
Asia, and Africa during the Second World War had succeed and continued with the pursuit of a super continent called New Germania. The Russians
surrendered, the Americans were nuked out of the war, and everyone else in the world surrenders except for the Jewish people of Europe who left to
North America before the final solution ever took place.
Decades later, after the State of Israel is formed in North America, the Israel people's population has decrease by half due to unknown illnesses
caused by the fallout of America. During this time, an experienced Rebel from the time of the Jewish exodus, Moshe Dayan, has trained an invasion
force. This invasion is the last-ditch effort on the behalf of Israel to regain the true homeland and seek justice for the Jewish people free from
the New Germanian Empire. Other leaders followed his example and eventually a 200,000 man & woman army was created for their large scale invasion
of New Germania.

ENTRANCE TO THE EVENT
The Shabbat Rebellion event will be held on June 20th & 21st in the Provo Canyon arena in Orem, Utah. Registration for the event begins on June 1st
and ends on June 18th and costs $40. Latecomers and unregistered players are welcome to attend the event but pay an additional $10 after June 18th.
Upon arrival, participants must present an event packet that contains information, rules, objectives, A BB/Gas voucher, etc. that will be pertinent
to the game (latecomers will receive one at the gate). Do not lose your packet because you will not receive another one without paying again.
GENERAL RULES
The Shabbat Rebellion Event will use the same general rule set from otherScorpion Events. This is posted on the Game play Rules page, so please be
very familiar with them before agreeing to the terms and conditions on the registration page or even planning on attending the event. Anyone not
following, breaking, or simply being ignorant of the rules will be warned once, and then asked to leave the event if additional infractions occur.
LODGING
You will be camping with other members of your army so arrange sleeping quarters before you arrive, if you are not bringing your own tent. Food and
beverage will be available at the market but you are encouraged to bring everything you will need for an overnight camp out. Fires may or may not be
permitted depending on local laws at the time. Local government is very strict about wildfire prevention and we WILL NOT allow fires if there is a
no-burn law in effect.
SAFETY
Safety glasses, goggles or paintball masks must be worn AT ALL TIMES during game play or in areas where shooting is permitted. These events are
unpredictable and you could get shot at any time even though there are designated areas where shooting is prohibited. In the event that you or someone
does get injured, basic first aid supplies and treatment will be available at the market but you are encouraged to bring your own kit. If anything serious
happens, game play will be stopped while any injury situation is assessed and managed. You are liable for the actions of yourself. Be smart and be safe
or you will be asked to leave.
THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET
This event will have an "International Market". The market is a place where real goods and services will be sold to players using real money. This will
include consumables, retail products, rental items, food, beverages, gear, entertainment and activities like Russian Roulette and the Rock Band competition.
The International Market hours are:
- Friday: 8:00pm ~ 12:00am (Midnight)
- Saturday: 7:00am ~ 8:00am (free breakfast) and 12:00pm ~1:30pm (free water)
CARRYING REAL MONEY AROUND
Since the International Market will be selling items for real cash, we recommend you carry a variety of $1 & 5 dollar bills in order to participate in
games like Russian roulette, Raffle tickets, etc. There will also be individuals with their own independent tables selling and trading all sort of items.
When carrying cash on you, we recommend not carrying it in your wallet in the case it gets lost. Instead, have a special pocket or purse to hold your funds.
Putting your name on it, would be a good idea as well.
NIGHTTIME PLAY (APPROXIMATELY 9:00PM-12:00AM)
This year's event will allow night time play that will include various missions assigned to players by their team leaders and the teams missions. This may
include but is not limited to reconnaissance, search and rescue or covert operations. This year you ARE ALLOWED to engage on opposing players if you meet the
following requirements:
- You are a part of a special unit that has night missions to complete
- You have an AEG with a Tracer Unit/Tracer Magazine And/Or
- A Pistol And/Or
- A Rubber Knife (only to be used in a safe manner)
Tracer units are available for most guns that have a 14mm Negative threaded barrel, (which is most guns) while 130 round mid-cap tracer magazines are currently
available for the M16/M4 & AK variants. Tracer BB’s will be given to you if you specify that you have a tracer unit or magazine. The color of BBs you will use
will be dictated by which side you will be fighting for and no other colors will be allowed.
DAYTIME PLAY (APPROXIMATELY 9:00AM-6:30PM)
Daytime play can get hot and exhausting. Be sure to hydrate before and during gameplay. We recommend carrying some form of water/sports drink with you at all
times so you can avoid dehydration. Even though the day can get hot, we have scheduled the scenarios to give you time to achieve your objectives without burning
yourself out. You will have unlimited re-spawns and certain units might have medics. So, pace yourself and your team.
Knife Kills - These are extremely difficult as you have to get up close and personal with your opponent. A legitimate knife kill occurs when you slash or stab
an opposing player with a rubber training knife--GENTLY!!! You MUST have a rubber training knife to perform a knife kill. You CANNOT use your hands to perform a
knife kill. No exceptions. Rubber knives can be purchased at the International Market or from Scorpion Airsoft prior to the game for $10.
VEHICLE INFORMATION
Vehicles will be provided and used by event staff during the DAYTIME ONLY to transport players. Vehicles will be used to ferry players from one point to another
as if they were helecopters or planes (so no special stops will be made). Vehicles will have one driver. Passengers traveling to or from are safe from AEG,
Grenade and pistol fire. Passengers CANNOT, return fire if fired upon until they exit the vehicle. Again, vehicles are for transportation only, NOT fighting.
Additional information about this event may be added to in the future or explained to you by your team leader. Please check back prior to the event. Questions
